You Never Forget Your First...

A lesson in remixing through multimodal composition, restoring humanity through rhetoric and the power of both to build community.

Is It News or Is It Commentary?

A super fast lesson on the difference between NEWS and news commentary, with a quick tip to determine which you are watching.

Different--Not Less.

Lessons are EVERYWHERE. This video was captured as I read a quote to my son who struggles with cognitive delays resulting from Autism. WHO wrote the words is not as important as HOW they were delivered. I did not realize how impactful this moment was for him until I saw his face in this video.

My son taught me the patience, understanding and compassion that often surprise my neurodivergent students. We may not always know what impact we have on our students, but care and belonging--INHERENT VALUE-- should never be surprising.
